I come into work today and I see a sign in the office “PLEASE ORDER TONER!! WE”RE EXTREMELY LOW!!” All I thought was “oh fuck…” Yesterday started a big sale for this weekend that ends next Saturday. When we take an order it’s put through the computer and we print out our copy and the customer’s copy. The stupid new assistant manager printed out about hundred sheets of fuck off signs and ads and shit that she killed our toner. The only printers in the place is my dept. and the office. Since she killed ours we’ve been printing our orders in the office. This morning I did the usual paper work and my orders list was barely visible. My ‘out of stock’ report was the only thing legible. I had to fucking improvise and use the previous days order log and then have blank paper to write down what we finished and what supplies we’ve checked in. I even wrote at the top “ghetto OFR” My team today did their best with the shitty print outs. At around 3pm there was no more toner. SO they’d still print out the orders and whatever wasn’t visible which was a lot of it, they’d hand write in the components.
Tomorrow’s only going to get worse because Sunday’s are our busiest days. And this woman who’s the other full timer is in. I hadn’t filled her in about what’s happened because she’s a cunt. No matter what she’ll make it seem like we didn’t do the best we could for the situation. She always feels like she has the solution for everything. I know the moment I open up tomorrow she’s gonna start slamming her hands on the keyboard and flipping out on why the computers aren’t working and making it this huge deal. WHEN I’VE HAD TO DEAL WITH THIS FOR THE PAST 3 DAYS!!! I’m going to end up telling her off. She always acts like she’s my boss when we both have the same title, only difference is I’ve been doing this for 3 years and she’s been doing it for 12. Oddly enough, everyone listens to me more. How fucking strange is that?
And funny enough I was almost fired a week ago. This is the shit I do to keep that dept. afloat. This is why they can’t get rid of me.
OH! ALSO!! the toner’s apparently like $300 and fucking management can’t get off their asses and go to Staples and fucking get us some! Oh no it’s being overnight-ed to us and we’ll get it like………..Tuesday maybe. FRGHHH!!!!!
